Emily Symons

Emily Symons is an Australianborn actress, active on both Australian and English television. She is best known for playing Marilyn Chambers in Australian soap Home and Away and Louise Appleton in British soap Emmerdale. She also took part in British show Dancing on Ice in 2007.

Symons was married to Lorenzo Smith, a son of Viscount Hambleden and descendent of English stationery tycoon W.H. Smith, for two years. Symons said in an interview that her need for children and the resultant cycles of IVF eventually killed the marriage Emily gave birth to a baby boy, born onAugust 2015, a week before Emilys 46th birthday.
